The Pupil Librarians help Mrs Thomson run the school library.  Their responsibilities include putting books away, tidying shelves and monitoring the library during break times when groups in other years visit. 

Pupil Librarians receive training on all aspects of the library, using the Reading Cloud computer system and understanding the Dewey system used for arranging the non-fiction library.

The School Library Service supply a wide range of fantastic texts and it's the Pupil Libraians' job to promote the love of reading for all.  

Children take this responsibility seriously and knowledgeably advise their peers about the texts that might inspire and engage.
