At Hawley Primary School, we are committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of our pupils, parents and staff. We know that everyone experiences life challenges that can make us vulnerable at times, anyone may need additional emotional support.

In order to provide our children with the skills to thrive in tomorrow’s world we follow the myHappy Mind Curriculum which is grounded in scientific research and helps children to:
- Feel happier
- Know what to do when they feel worried or stressed
- Improve their focus and learn more
- Achieve more of the goals that they set for themselves
- Develop better relationships with friends and families
- Feel great about who they are and have positive self esteem

Breathing
Breathing can help children's brains relax. These exercises also help to develop a child's awareness of how they are feeling and supports with self regulation.
